My name is Dan Metully. I’ve been a resident of the State of Montana since 1974. I’ve raised one daughter already, and, with my wife Marguerite, am now raising another son and daughter in the same neighborhood in which I also grew up.

I am currently Chair of the Lone Rock School Board of Trustees.

I have run a successful Freight Brokerage here in Stevensville since 2004 called TFI Logistics. I normally have up to ten independent agents working for TFI serving customer freight needs across the United States.

In addition to operating TFI Logistics, I created and run an additional business called Transport Watch (.com). Transport Watch was created to combat issues of Transportation Fraud and other poor business behavior within the Transportation Industry.

I solve problems for a living, and this is why I’m running for Senate District 45.

I am always willing to listen to the ideas and perspectives of others. In my view, we must come back to the table and treat each other respectfully. We don’t have to agree, but we need to start talking.

In my time as a school board member, I have seen great things happen from simple conversations. I continue to see them in my community to this day.
